People Unlimited volunteers, entertainers and activists help make RAADfest 2017 the greatest super longevity event ever.
RAADfest, held August 9-13, 2017 in San Diego, was made possible, in large part, by the efforts of People Unlimited members. People Unlimited provided most of the event support team as well as several great performances.
The band, Living Proof, opened the event with several original songs to raise the energy and set the mood for enjoyment. James Strole, co-director of People Unlimited, Director for the Coalition for Radical Life Extension, and superstar activist for physical immortality, welcomed everyone with great passion and an overview of the purpose and goals of the RAADfest. Bernadeane, co-director for People Unlimited, in her unique, exciting style, left no doubts as to her sincerity and commitment to staying alive, urging everyone to do the same.
Dr. Michael West of BioTime Inc, then gave his keynote presentation, “Back to Immortality”, a title as mind-blowing as his material. The whole evening was a fantastic beginning to what would be several days packed with cutting edge information from many superstars in the field of age reversal medicine and technology.
The audience came expecting news and were not disappointed, with a long list of brilliant presenters, including favorites such as Dr. Bill Andrews, Liz Parrish, Jose Cordeiro, Dr. Max More, Dr. Natasha Vita-More, Dr. Aubrey de Grey, Ben Goertzel, Kristin Comella, Dr. Greg Fahy, Dr. Dip Maharaj, Dr. Terry Grossman, Zoltan Istvan, and Dr. Mark Gordon, along with many new and exciting faces, all leading experts in their fields.
The unmistakable energy and commitment of Bill Faloon from Life Extension Foundation was also front and center. As always, his focus was on age reversal now, with important way for people to stay healthy today. He also brought information on several upcoming clinical trials.
Suzanne Somers’ celebrity appearance was intimate, personal and entertaining. Her grace, beauty and enthusiasm for living was infectious, as she is a powerful anti-aging advocate through her many books and appearances.
Performances by DJ Kevin Brown, Chris Sanders and Charlie Cam, as well as the amazing creativity of Maria Entraigues-Abramson, who made an appearance as her future self, highlighted the entertainment.
The RAADfest challenge consisted of primarily People Unlimited members who had pledged to transform their health and fitness during the year and present their new bodies in a performance on the stage at RAADfest 2017. Led by Ilana Lea of Enerjoy Fitness and People Unlimited, they collectively lost fat, gained lean muscle and improved their health in many ways. They exploded onto the stage in work-out fashion, displaying high energy and celebration of aliveness -- an inspiring example to anyone in the audience to do the same for themselves next year.
There were several opportunities for audience participation with questions and comments each day. The Steering Committee brought it home the last day with their panel discussion, highlighting activism, emphasizing the need for people to get involved and motivated to push the initiatives we all desire to see manifest. Age reversal lifestyle now, as well as advocacy and effective communication of life extension issues were also discussed.
The highlight of the last day was an appearance via skype by David Kekich, who had been unable to attend in person. His energetic and enthusiastic expression of commitment to the common goals of our community was an inspiration to all.
Created by the Coalition for Radical Life Extension, the purpose of RAADfest is to bring together people from all walks of life interested in age reversal and radical life extension - scientists, doctors, therapists, thought leaders, artists and activists – to raise awareness and create a global community.
